Across all Laine & Company Salon Brands, we believe that knowledge is power and your guests behind the chair deserve the very best. Every Laine & Company stylist is required to go through our Stylist University. They are trained and exposed to all types of hair, from thick and curly to thin and straight. Our program is built on the foundation of honing your skills to allow your specialties to shine. We train and give you the tools to build your clientele simultaneously so that you are earning from day one.
Depending on the level of stylist hired, each Stylist University curriculum is curated to help support their career journey. For newly licensed stylists, this position is a hybrid training position in which you will be paired with an educator to assist 1-3 days per week, while you accept guests up to 2 days per week. As you grow your clientele, more days are added. Simply stated, as you progress through our program, your days behind the chair with your own clientele increase and your days assisting your assigned mentor decrease. For stylists that need a good refresher or just help honing skills, Stylist University is scheduled around your clientele schedule.

Our part time position is for stylists that have built a base clientele and desire a 20 hour work week or less. Part Time Stylists at Haute Glam Studio will share a work area with their fellow team members.
Our full time position is for stylists that have built a clientele that desire a minimum of a 30 hour and a maximum of a 38 hour work week.

Our educator position is for stylists that have a passion for sharing knowledge and training our next generation of artisans. This position is perfect for stylists that desire a minimum of a 34 hour and a maximum of a 38 hour work week, have built a successful business behind the chair for a minimum of 5 years and has the capacity to acquire an assistant.

At Haute Glam Studio, located in Johnson City, we do things differently. We want to empower every artist that has a dream to grow in the beauty industry. While we understand not all stylists wish to be an employee, we do understand having a supportive work environment that cultivates growth. We offer multiple booth rental options and amenities for our independent business owners, so that they can have a successful behind the chair experience.

At Haute Glam Studio we do things differently. No matter if you choose daily, part time or full time rental options, all include Luxury Booking System, Point of Sale, WiFi Access for you and your guests, Luxury Color Bar* (invoiced monthly based on usage), Color Management System so you never have to forget a formula again, Stylist MatchMaking Quiz to help drive new business.
Want to carry your own color products or use your own booking system? No problem! Just specify during your onboarding so your lease agreement clearly states what you are responsible for.
Yes. We believe in having clear agreements so that both you, the booth renter, and the salon are protected. Our lease agreements are standard documents for our industry and include flexible options. If things don't work out, you are free to seek other places of employment.
You will be assigned a Vish system code specifically tied to you. Each month, you are invoiced for only what you use plus a 25% fee that covers taxes and shipping for the color bar.
We love taking care of our salon guests. We do have a stocked self service coffee bar, water, sodas, and a snack bar for guests to enjoy. All we ask, is everyone contribute by either purchasing a case of water or sodas each month to help aid in cost. This also removes the need to charge stylists if and when they want a drink from the fridge.
